Free tech literacy for everyone
The tech world has its own language.
This is where you learn to speak it.
Right now, extraordinary tools exist that can change how you work and what you can build. But if the foundations feel like a barrier — if words like API, Git, framework, and deployment float through your world without quite clicking — the most powerful tools of this moment can feel just out of reach. This site closes that gap.
What's Inside
Not a course. Not a curriculum. Inside are standalone articles that each stand completely on their own — read one, read all of them, start wherever you're curious.
Topics span the tools and concepts that show up everywhere in today's tech landscape — from how version control works to how modern web frameworks evolved to how the platforms developers deploy on are reshaping the industry.
Topics include:
Who It's For
In just a few years, AI tools went from science fiction to everyday work. New platforms, frameworks, and ways of building things are announced every month. And if you've been watching from the outside — catching enough to get by, but never quite confident you really understand — it can feel like the gap is getting wider, not smaller.
But the fundamentals haven't changed. Git is still how all software is built and shared. APIs are still how every app talks to every other app. The terminal is still the most direct way to talk to a computer. Understanding these things — even at a surface level — changes what you can do, what you can ask for, and how clearly you can think about the tools that are reshaping everything around you.
There is a bridge to cross. This site is how you cross it.
